Meet the Doctors
Caleb J. Craig, B.S., D.C.
Dr. Craig is the owner and clinic director of Whole Health Chiropractic & Wellness Center. He is a national and state board certified/licensed physician. He holds active licenses in Colorado and Oregon, and has been trained dually in all aspects of traditional and chiropractic medicine. Dr. Craig fulfilled his undergraduate work at Colorado State University in 1998 where he received degrees in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. He served as an athletic trainer for the CSU Rams for 5 years before moving to Portland, Oregon where he began professional training at Western States Chiropractic School and Oregon Health Sciences University. While in Oregon, Dr. Craig worked closely with well known physicians Dr. Daniel DeLapp, D.C., N.D., L.Ac., DABCO, William MacKenzie, D.C., MSPT, CCSP, Dwayne Engelbrecht, D.C., and Rob Lewis, D.C. Together; they conducted academic research in the latest and most innovative treatment options for low back pain, migraine headaches, allergy elimination, gastrointestinal disorders and inflammation.
In 2004, Dr. Craig completed his internship and residency and began private practice in Portland, specializing in orthopedics and nutritional medicine. For the next 2 years he worked as an associate doctor in one of Oregon''s largest and most successful chiropractic clinics. While at Beeson Chiropractic Center in Portland, Dr. Craig developed and implemented a full service orthopedic and rehabilitative facility.
In April 2006, Dr. Craig relocated back to Colorado and founded Whole Health Chiropractic & Wellness Center, a full service multidisciplinary health care clinic. He believes in an integrated approach to health care and focuses on natural treatments that help patients reduce the risks of disease, promote wellness, and enhance the quality of life. Dr. Craig believes the physician''s care and empathy are critical to their healing. Furthermore, he realizes that in order to achieve optimal health, we must take an integrated approach to health care and focus on the importance of diet, lifestyle, and preventative measures. He is proficient in orthopedic and neurological diagnosis and welcomes the challenge of particularly difficult cases. Dr. Craig spends considerable time with his patients - he believes "the mystery is in the history".
Always overflowing with energy and occasional sarcasm, Dr. Craig loves to educate, empower, and motivate his patients to take a personal responsibility for their health. He focuses on the importance of nutrition and considers it the foundation of his patient’s journey towards optimal health and wellness. He is full of staggering facts and current misconceptions about food. Dr. Craig continues post-graduate studies on alternative health care, attending workshops and seminars on a variety of cutting-edge health treatment programs. He frequently lectures on sports injury prevention, food allergies, gastrointestinal health, and nutrition. Erica Snyder-Notz, D.C.
Dr. Erica Snyder-Notz graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 2005. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from The University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a Nationally and State Board Certified Chiropractic Physician who provides complete chiropractic care for the entire family including pregnancy, infants, children and seniors. She is proficient in all aspects of Orthopedic and Neurological Diagnosis and specializes in the treatment of headaches, whiplash/auto injuries, cervical and lumbar spine disorders, degenerative disc disease, arthritis and pediatrics. Custom orthotics, based on digital foot scans and gait analysis are also available.
Dr. Erica pays special attention to pregnant women and has completed postgraduate work in perinatal care. She utilizes the Webster Technique which is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that reduces interference to the nervous system and balances pelvic muscles and ligaments. This in turn reduces torsion in the uterus, a cause of intra-uterine constraint and allows for optimal fetal positioning (the baby to get into the best possible position for birth.)
Dr. Erica also provides on-site first aid and chiropractic care at events such as the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and is a sponsor of The Denver Roller Dolls, Denver''s premier roller derby league.
Dr. Cory Aplin, B.S., D.C.
Dr. Aplin is a 2002 graduate of Colorado State University where he received his Bachelor''s Degree in Biology with a focus on Anatomy and Neurobiology. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2006 from Southern California University of Health Sciences. The first part of his career was spent working in one of the largest multidisciplinary clinics in Brooklyn, NY where he had the opportunity to work side by side with Neurologists, Physical Therapists, Orthopedic and Neuro Surgeons.
While in New York, Dr. Aplin took a special interest in helping his patients overcome addiction (anything from smoking to food addiction) through Diet and Nutrition. He has since expanded his knowledge of nutritional therapies and now gives lectures on a variety of topics, including but not limited to, GI complaints, sleeping disorders, Allergies, Hypothyroid and Detoxification.
Dr. Aplin is skilled in all aspects of chiropractic practice as well as diet and nutrition counseling. Below are listed some of the areas where he has a special Focus:
